Access to the Sex Offender Registry via the Internet is required by Michigan's Sex Offenders Registration Act (Public Act 85 of 1999).

The Sex Offender Registry includes individuals in Michigan who were convicted of a listed offense on or after October 1, 1995.

The entire Michigan Sex Offenders Registration Act can be accessed from the Michigan Legislature Web site.
