The monthly Neighborhood Watch report contains a summary of information important to Neighborhood Watch members.
ROBBERIES
On January 31st, an eighteen year old Livonia resident was arrested for robberies at Plus Skateboarding and Living Health (vitamin outlet) in downtown Farmington.
BURGLARIES
A “smash and grab” burglary occurred at Hair Masters at Nine Mile and Farmington Road.
LARCENIES
A backpack was stolen out of a vehicle parked at the Zap Zone, at Grand River andMooney. CD’s were stolen out of an unlocked car on Grand River.
A resident of Farmington Place, senior center, reported a missing television.
A shopper at T.J. Maxx reported her purse was stolen out of a shopping cart as she shopped.
A resident of Chatham Hills Apartments reported someone stole the tailgate door off his vehicle.
SEARCH WARRANT
Farmington detectives raided a home in Detroit and arrested a twenty (20) year oldwoman for stealing the identity of a Farmington resident. Detectives confiscated property purchased using the stolen identity.
MONTHLY CRIME PREVENTION REMINDERS
Report all suspicious activity to the public safety department immediately. Many of the January crimes were not reported immediately and suspicious behavior was not reported to the police. Please be our extra eyes and ears.
