Cell phones and an iPod were stolen from a locker room and a teacher’s desk at Farmington High School.
MONTHLY CRIME PREVENTION REMINDERS
Help us catch “fail to pay gasoline thieves.” Commander Terry Purves recently apprehended a subject fleeing the Grand River BP station without paying for $52.11 worth of gasoline. A quick 9-1-1 call led to the fast apprehension. Gasoline drive offs are regular occurrences. Be alert to report driver’s fleeing gas stations, cars without headlights at night or license plates that are obstructed or removed. Obtain the description of the vehicle and driver, and call 9-1-1.
A review of the monthly report highlights the need to not leave wallets, telephones and iPods unattended and unlocked.
